MK Fan Fiction Update #...2, I guess?

So, I finished most of the re-write, now I just need to finish the major editing of the parts after the edited portion...which means I need to sit and read my own shit over like 3 or 4 times to ensure it flows properly and there's no left over garbage from the previous version. No big deal...but I have to confess I've been distracted by Mortal Kombat...I've been trying to improve my skills and have been neglecting to write. Sad face., you have destroyed my focus...

My Mileena costume finally came in, but it didn't fit. FML. So we sent it back and are awaiting another size. Taking forever, and I need to make alterations on it before June. I hate running out of time. I just hope I get it before PortCon...if not, I wont be going.

MK Fan Fic Update

Minor a portion of the story, (finally)
previously to now all I've been doing is fixing sentence structure, wording, grammer, etc. etc.

Hoping to get to the second major fight scene today...if my focus remains, perhaps farther.

Again, pushing back the plot update and Wolfos' introduction, (sorry) (*as if anyone actually cares, Nightwoe...just saying.*) trying to get enough of the story done so I can post it as a "Part 1" or some such. If I have time today, I will make another update, but don't count on it.

MK Fan Fiction Project

Since I started actually advertising my coming Mortal Kombat fan fiction currently in progress, I decided I had better start some actual updates. So, first off...

STARING: Smoke and the new character, Wolfos.
COSTARRING: Sub-Zero, Sektor, Cyrax, Raiden, Shang-Tsung, Quan-Chi.
APPEARANCES BY: Johnny Cage, Jax, Sonya, Kano, Noob, Scorpion, and many others.

So, we all know Smoke...but who the HELL is Wolfos? Well, Wolfos is a female character I created myself. It took at least six months for me to finalize her personality, appearance, and background, but at long last my hard work paid off when she emerged even better then I had originally imagined.

Now, bear with me when I explain her, because at first you're going to be like, "What the fuck is this shit?" but then you'll be like, "Ok, I get it, that's kind of cool."

First of all, we expand from another realm...I know what you're thinking, "Really? We already have Earthrealm, Outworld, the Netherrealm, and you want to add a whole new realm?" Don't panic, it's a temporary starting point. Fact of the matter is, the realm Wolfos is from is dying...but I can't give you much more details about that without giving away spoilers.

Anyway, you know the Lin-Kuei, the the Shadow Wolves, a clan from previously mentioned realm. A species genetically created by a goddess named Luna, but to the much distaste of her goddess-sister, Astra. Luna and Astra are the Sister Moons of a dying realm. Luna, the smaller red moon, and Astra, the larger blue moon. More about them later.

Speaking of the Lin-Kuei, we begin with Smoke and Sub-Zero, who have determined their best course of action is to inquire with the Thunder God in hopes of finding other Lin-Kuei resisting the Cyber Initiative. In route to Raiden's temple, Smoke and Sub-Zero are ambushed by the Lin-Kuei, led by Cyrax and Sektor himself. Outnumbered, things look grim...but near by, an explosive blast of wind and debris interrupts the standoff. An unstable portal opens and strange lights and fire fly from its mouth. Amidst the chaos, the portal spits forth two figures, descending rapidly towards the gathered warriors. Stray attacks intercept each other, and the two battles soon intertwine...

*AHEM* this opening scene has yet to actually be WRITTEN...because of it's complexity, I've had a very hard time putting it to screen. There is a lot more to be told, and a lot more to be explained, but this will have to do for a starting point.

As for Wolfos...I'm going to postpone explaining her until next update, which I will hopefully release this weekend, but may not emerge until next week. Keep checking back for the updates. As for me, I have work at 4 am, so...bed time.

On With The Day

So, here I am, typing, again. Sigh. 13 days until Diablo 3 is released, and sadly I can't afford it. Life is teasing the SHIT out of me right now. Anyway, I'm still working on that fan fiction, slowly. I had writers block for the LONGEST time, and now FINALLY I've moved on and gotten to page 29. Getting feedback on it is the hardest part, because nobody likes reading, and on top of that, anyone who reads it just says, "it's good."
...not helpful, guys. Need detailed feedback. *Exasperated sigh*.

So, I'm sitting here, trolling x-box live chat and typing in my blog with lack of anything actually important to say, processing some recently eaten fish sticks and waiting for an e-mail of an awesome Sub-Zero costume a friend of mine purchased for a convention. Needless to say...I'm jealous. However, I just replaced my order for the costume after doing some research and finally found it in stock. So Portland Maine Convention, here I come. I still need to get a teddy bear in case I run into a Scorpion. XD

I've gotten to 21...wait, (double checks file...)...yup, that's right, 21 pages. I got to the first fight scene...and realized how much I *SUCK* at writing action scenes x_X Well...more like *remembered* how much I suck. ANYWAY...I've hit some writers block on some of the transitions between key parts of the story...which is my trademark of failure, unfortunately. I've always been terrible at scene transitions...ask my high school teachers that had to read my shit...

*Flashback* "GOD DAMNIT, JAMIE, I CAN'T UNDERSTAND YOUR TRANSITIONAL PARAGRAPHS!!! THAT DROPS YOUR GRADE FROM AN A+ TO A C-!!! GARARARARARRRR..." -_-; thanks, teach. Whoo. Slave away on a short story with complicated multi-layer story line and get burned on transitionals. How 'bout you TEACH ME HOW TO WRITE THEM BETTER?? Gawd.

ahem...anyway. Back to it >.>

Sigh. So, good news, bad news, and just plain unimportant news about me. How exciting. This is the first time I've been able to get on the internet from my laptop in over 3 months. What does this mean? Several things.
1.) One of my neighbors didn't put a password on his WIFI...and if I find out who it is, I will personally thank them.
2.) I can actually blog again, because blogging on a
3.) I had a few others, but I can't remember them because I have Lewis Black playing on YouTube on x-box Live, which I ALSO have been absent from.

Okay, down to business. I can't seem to log into my previous blog, Nightwoe's Notebook...SO I had to start...another one. *facepalm* I can't even find my webs website, but whatever, that was a piece of shit anyway. I used to look at it and feel proud that I made it...then I'd go to a successful website and said, "Wow. I made a piece of shit." So, anyway, I'm starting over. I feel much more focused now, helps since I only work weekends, so I can get more done and have more time to actually work on my projects without losing focus and being another loser that let's them fall into the dark oblivion...*coughcoughGWENNPCcoughcough* yeah. Let's talk about that next.

So Gwen NPC still...exists...but she's...well...the project is more frozen then Cyber-Sub's core. I still have everything...but I doubt I will ever progress past what I have already done. Still, she works in the game, her conversations work...but there's so much I wanted to do that I never figured out how to do it and so never finished it. And that's the end of poor Gwen. Moving on.

Uhm...what else...what else...Oh. My webs website. Yeah, so...just forget about that crap. It's gone. Forever. And Ever. And it doesn't even miss it's own existence. Okay, next.

You know what? Project announcements pending. This entry
